Glad to have helped! I took the folder off of a Vista Ultmate x64 machine. If you do get this working feel free to post here so others can benefit from what you figure out. Neither Microsoft nor Adaptec officially offer such a driver for download.

Some of the other forums I found on this same issue though most of them do not mention the U2 card are as follows:.
Bif a scanner is connected it should now show up aah-2940 the imaging devices category and a corresponding driver that was installed with Vuescan should get installed automatically.
I can now clear the disks on my old SCSI servers so they can be donated. Another big “thank you” to MartinBravo.

Any idea what is wrong? Finally I found a post where a guy said, another poster has posted a downloadable. You then install as normal, requesting to qha-2940 the driver yourself, instead of Windows and you’re done. All three downloaded and unzipped files are in my folder: If the driver does not get installed you can always install it manually from your Vuescan folder.
I found them here: Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I bought and downloaded VueScan and it worked perfectly with a still perfectly good year-old scanner.
On the settings screen click the “Change PC settings” entry. I have tried uninstalling the device and then forcing it to use the DJSVS file but it says this does not bitt any drivers for my device. The drivers got installed after adding the device as a legacy hardware from the device manager but it fails to start.
Reading and writing was very good if not better than years ago. Thursday, April 25, Your system will restart and after a while you’ll get to this option screen.
